Reliable data needed more than a new platform
An organization working with plasma-related operations needed better-organized data and greater confidence in the information guiding its decisions. Data quality and integrity were central concerns, but the client also needed to understand what was preventing improvement.
Techhands was initially engaged to assess the data environment and identify gaps. That assessment uncovered 28 issues requiring attention. The findings showed that selecting new technology would address only part of the challenge: responsibilities, processes, and collaboration between business and IT also needed to change.

Techhands interviewed stakeholders and examined the client's current data environment to understand both its limitations and the outcomes leadership wanted. The team prioritized the identified gaps according to business impact, giving executives a clearer basis for deciding where to invest.
This work helped the client secure leadership support and funding for the changes. Techhands provided regular executive updates so stakeholders could follow the priorities, understand the proposed organizational changes, and stay involved as the work progressed.

Evaluate technology against the operating needs
Data environment assessment established the baseline for the project. Stakeholder interviews and the gap analysis helped connect technical needs with the people and processes responsible for the data.
Enterprise scanning and workflow tools were evaluated to improve visibility into the environment. Techhands identified an enterprise workflow solution and participated in the vetting process, using the assessment findings to guide the evaluation.
Data governance and organizational changes addressed ownership and coordination alongside the technology work. Additional positions helped fill capability gaps, while the proposed reorganization gained support from senior leadership.
Cloud migration planning supported the next stage of modernization. The client is moving production workloads into a cloud environment, with scalability and operating efficiency as objectives. This transition remains ongoing.
A clearer path from data concerns to action
The engagement gave the client a prioritized view of identified gaps and the executive backing to address them. Adding key positions and improving coordination between business and IT helped tackle organizational barriers that technology selection alone could not resolve.
